About this tour

The usual starting point for our Marrakech photo tour is at the Café de France located at Jemaa El Fna Square. From that point we walk together through the streets of the Souk as there are plenty of variety for photo shooting such as architecture, portraits, crafts, depending on your interest. We will also visit places such as the Koranic school Madrasa Ben Youssef and The Badi Palace. Contrast of light and shadows in the narrow streets give unlimited options for composing your frame.

Keep in mind that we do spend time walking or staying in the same spot to capture great photo opportunities, though I will adapt to your pace.

Who is this tour for?

The Marrakech photo tour is ideal for beginners, intermediate and professional Photographers.
If you are a beginner in photography, you will learn the basics of Exposure, using your camera in “manual mode” with Iso, shutter speed and aperture.

If you are a professional or have already experience in street photography, you already know how challenging it can be to approach people and photograph them, especially in a culture as conservative as Morocco. Although Moroccans in general are very loving people, they are not very comfortable with cameras. So during this photo walk you will get to know a way to approach them.
